Lucas gave an interview for Cliche Magazine about a month ago. You can read it at their website and a couple of excerpts below. There’s also a new photoshoot image along with the article which you can see in HQ in the gallery.
How did your role as Gilbert in Anne with an E come about for you?
It was actually a very fast auditioning process. I sent in a couple of tapes through my agent in Chicago, and then I was asked to fly out to meet the producer, writer, and to read with Amybeth. Then, a couple weeks later, they called and asked if I wanted to play Gilbert.
When you auditioned for the show, what do you think you did that stood out to the casting directors to help land you the role?
I don’t think I based my Gilbert solely off of the Gilbert in the book. Understanding that Moira’s writing style was going to be a little more gritty and interpersonal, I wanted to make my Gilbert fit accordingly.
Lucas is featured in the new issue of Foxes Magazine which you can get here. Unfortunately, there seems to be no web version available. You can also see a couple of photoshoot images in the gallery.
Thought it was time for a change, so changed the layout. Thanks to MCMXCIX.
‘Thrill Ride’ is going to be screened at the Burbank International Film Festival on September 9th. You can get tickets at ItsMySeat. I’ve also added another still from the movie to the gallery.
Since news is slow, I’ve added an old photoshoot from ’20th Century Women’ promotion to the gallery.
Updated the gallery with a couple of images from the set of Lucas’ upcoming movie ‘Every Day’.
